DÍON is a rooftop restaurant and bar located in Dublin city centre, on Dame Street at One Central Plaza. Perched above the former Central Bank, DÍON offers panoramic views over Trinity College and the River Liffey, alongside an all-day dining menu celebrating the best of Irish and international cuisine. It is one of Dublin’s most distinctive dining destinations, elevated, considered, and designed for those who want more from a night out.

DÍON is located at One Central Plaza, Dame Street, Dublin 2. The restaurant sits on the rooftop of the building, directly above the city centre, with views across Trinity College Dublin and the River Liffey. Dame Street is one of Dublin’s most central addresses, within easy walking distance of Temple Bar, St Stephen’s Green, and Dublin Castle.

Yes. We cater for a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and low-FODMAP options. Guests should inform the team of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking so the kitchen can prepare accordingly.

Yes. Q-Park Dame Street is the closest car park to DÍON, located within a few minutes’ walk of One Central Plaza. Additional parking facilities are available nearby in Dublin city centre. DÍON is also well-served by Dublin Bus and Luas routes, making it easily accessible by public transport.

Yes. DÍON is a fully wheelchair-accessible venue. The building at One Central Plaza, Dame Street, Dublin 2 is equipped with lifts and fully accessible restrooms. Guests with mobility requirements are encouraged to contact the team in advance at info@diondublin.ie to ensure the most comfortable visit possible.

DÍON Dublin is open for all-day dining seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, from 12pm to 10pm. The bar is open throughout dining service. Walk-in drinks service is available from approximately 9.30pm, subject to availability. DÍON is located at One Central Plaza, Dame Street, Dublin 2.

Yes. DÍON offers gift vouchers, available to purchase online as digital vouchers at diondublin.ie. DÍON gift vouchers can be redeemed for dining or at the bar following a meal. They make a considered gift for anyone looking to experience one of Dublin’s best rooftop restaurants.

Reservations

Tables at DÍON can be booked online through SevenRooms, via the ‘Book a Table’ button on the DÍON website at diondublin.ie. Reservations are recommended, particularly for weekend evenings and peak dining hours. Walk-ins are also accepted, subject to availability.

Yes, DÍON Dublin accepts walk-in guests, subject to table availability on the evening. Walk-ins are more likely to be accommodated at quieter times. For weekend evenings, busy service periods, and sunset dining hours, advance booking through SevenRooms is strongly recommended.

During peak dining times, DÍON allocates a 1hr 45mins per table. This gives guests enough time to settle into the rooftop experience properly. Guests are welcome to finish their evening with a drink in our bar area.

Yes. DÍON offers semi-private dining spaces in Dublin for groups of up to 24 guests. Large group reservations can be made directly through the Reservations page at diondublin.ie. For fully private event hire, contact the events team at info@diondublin.ie to discuss requirements and availability. For parties of 8+ set menus are provided.

We are currently focused on dining reservations. However, from 9.30pm onwards, walk-in drinks service is expected to be available subject to availability on the evening. The bar offers signature cocktails and a curated wine list.

The Experience

DÍON Dublin has a smart casual dress code. Guests are encouraged to dress with a sense of occasion while keeping things relaxed and effortless. Sportswear and overly casual attire are not permitted. The atmosphere is elevated but never stiff — considered, not overdone.

DÍON is a fully indoor rooftop restaurant in Dublin. While the venue is situated on the rooftop of One Central Plaza on Dame Street and offers panoramic city views, the dining and bar space is entirely enclosed, providing a climate-controlled environment suitable for dining year-round.

Guests can request a preferred seating area or table at DÍON at the time of booking. While the team will always do their best to accommodate seating preferences, table allocations are made based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. Early booking is advisable for guests with specific requirements.

Yes. DÍON offers a complimentary cloakroom service for coats and small bags. Storage of large luggage or oversized items is available depending on space. The cloakroom is available throughout the dining service.

DÍON is primarily designed as an adult dining environment in Dublin. Children and young guests are welcome for lunch or early evening bookings before 7pm. In accordance with Irish law, guests under 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may remain on the premises until 9pm only.

DÍON can provide highchairs on request at the time of booking. Please note that the highchair occupies a seat within the overall table number. Space for buggies and pushchairs is very limited within the restaurant area. Limited buggy storage is available in the cloakroom during lunch service only.

DÍON is an accessible venue and warmly welcomes registered guide dogs only. As a rooftop restaurant and bar in Dublin city centre, DÍON is committed to being inclusive and accessible for all guests.
